Barberino Designer Outlet is not one of the common outlets in Tuscany, but a special place where you can spend a pleasant day going shopping. Located only a few kilometres from Florence, it is a picturesque village ideal for a walk, stop for a break at one of the many bars and restaurants, and let your children play in the children playground.

Shopping in Florence
Apart from the artistic and architectonic beauties that made it famous all over the world, Florence offers many itineraries also to the shopping lovers with solutions for all pockets and tastes. You can start with the famous and characteristic Market of San Lorenzo, full of small souvenirs, to end up at via Tornabuoni, via della Vigna Nuova, and via del Parione with their haute couture shops.
For those looking for something really special, the area of Oltrarno with its Florentine craftsman shops, is the ideal place. The itinerary can start from Ponte Vecchio and continue through Borgo San Jacopo and via Guicciardini, up to Santo Spirito. Via De’ Fossi instead, hosts many antique shops; if you like to stroll among stalls, you must visit the Ciompi Market: a flea market in Santa Croce area where you can find precious and characteristic objects.
